Hrrrrmmmmm... bi-curious to see if it swings both ways I see.

If it's a rather permanent product that works well... $35 is nothing. You'd piss that kind of bucks away on temporary crap that you'll never see again anyways.
I'd love to have a Yeti cooler, but am not willing to spend that much on something which won't get used very often. That being said, I came across a Yeti 30 oz insulated drink cup, and it's an excellent product. I usually stop and buy a soda in the morning and keep it in my car all day to sip on, as I'm driving around to see my home patients. Yesterday afternoon, I had to go see a patient at around 3pm. On the way, I stopped to get a soda, and when I arrived home, I brought my drink in. It sat on the kitchen counter overnight, and this afternoon, it was still half full of ice. That's the most impressive I've ever seen for keeping a cold drink cold. I highly recommend it.

Does it keep drinks hot, too?
I see no reason why it shouldn't keep things hot. Insulation works both ways.

Apparently so. The label suggests it can be used for coffee.
So why not just get a thermos?

(though on second thought that is pretty cool, but I'd be afraid i was lined with lead impregnated asbestos...

Truth be told, I have several vintage Thermos bottles.
Ahh you touchy feely people. I ate lead sandwiches as a kid, and drank asbestos flavored koolaid. I turned out OK.
