we will spend fall and winter in South Spain without flip flops.

I didn't have plans before but now I'm going to make a trip to Canada just to bring you a razor. Yikes!
 
We spent all last week in a cabin we rented in the Smoky Mountains. We rode horses, went to the go cart track, rode the tram to Ober Gatlinburg. We rode the ski lift, went up the Space Needle, went for scenic drives, went to Forbidden Caverns, went to the Titanic museum, and the wax museum, etc. Shopped way too much, ate way too much. :lol:

It was fun, but I was less than amused with our accomodations.

Note to self: Make sure the next time you rent a cabin, that it actually has bathrooms. :roll:
 
Im thinking of spending a month in Spain later this year with my son on his first trip to Europe (or maybe leave him with my parents in the US since they want to see him and go to Spain alone). Now all I have to do is raise the money without touching my savings! :2razz:

Watched "The Way" recently and it renewed my interest in the Way of St. James, Pyrenees and north western Spain. Would like to return to that area.
 
I spent the weekend at a friend's cottage in the Cape. The fireworks were cancelled Friday night because we had some severe weather, but Saturday night we went up onto a cliff and we could see fireworks from everywhere! It was SO awesome and pretty! :)
 
Been living in my cabin for a month now in South Eastern Mo. Love it. Very peaceful and relaxing. In fact I can't remember a time I have been more at peace. Fishing, Canoeing and hitting the dirt tracks in the area. Everyday seems like vacation!. Heading for Florida on Monday for 10 days. Going to spend two of those days Shark fishing near Clearwater with a buddy of mine. Can't wait for that. The rest of the time I will be sitting on the beach drinking Dos Equis or eating seafood.

We are heading to Mexico for the first time in October. Really don't know what to expect on that trip as all I have to go off is stories from my sister.

LOVE Italy! My favorite country!

Mr. B and I are going to Austria in November. My second favorite country!

Love the Cape! I went a few years ago and had a blast!
