Below is a recent photo of a Russian Aeroflot Airbus A319.

Anyone notice anything intereting ?

The door!

If all else fails the Russian pilot can parachute themselves while the civilians cannot.

It has the hammer and sickle insignia on it? So what? A lot of companies have roots in the soviet era and kept the same symbols.

Aren't aeroplanes meant to have 4 wheels? How else could they drive over the rough clouds?

The two tools symbolize the urban industrial workers and the rural agricultural workers, and their overlapping symbolizes the unity of the two as the working class.
It was used as a symbol of the revolution and then was adopted by the communist party.
Lots of Russian brands still use it... 09_06_10_hs3.jpgSo what is your point?

It is a Delta SkyTeam member?

Yeah the first thing my eyes were drawn to were the hammer and sickle.

I doubt the sickle would be useful anyway, with the wings on it, you couldn't get enough velocity to cut the grain properly.

 Maybe with wings on it, it would cut the grain on it's own? Kind of like a self-propelled lawn mower? Bonus!

Dang, you wouldn't even have to mill the wheat. Run that puppy through with a jet engine on autopilot, go in for a cup of coffee and come back and the wheat's already been cut, and milled, and ready to go.

Now, if we could just find someone to bag it...

Nah

Warm it and let it turn to vodka

A Russian plane has a hammer and sickle. What is so interesting about that?
