I have no idea what I am doing yet.

Get drunk...... alone

I hope you enjoy it :) (not sure what else to say, sorry)

Dana is planning some sort of surprise, but won't tell me what. I am going to get her some jewelry, that much I know.

Babysitting for my neighbors. Getting like 300 dollars for it. Pretty much best thing for a dateless evening.

When in a releationship, I dont need a special day to show my partner that I love her.

Well, i'm right handed

Have never gone out for Valentine's Day. Drives me crazy that guys are roped into $100 evenings when restaurants bring out their "Show-Me-You-Love-Me Menus." ;)

I'm betting I wake up on Valentine's Day morning, go to punch the Keurig and find a dozen roses mixed with Baby's Breath and a beautiful awesome card from Tommy. I'll do a hopefully as-awesome card and some Fannie May chocolates.

Nothing. I might make her a nice dinner, but nothing fancy. We're pinching pennies right now. When summer hits, we've got to put in a new back patio (the old one is wooden and completely rotten...came the house, lol), new windows, and a new front stoop/stairs to front door. The old one is cinder blocks with concrete poured over it, and crumbling.

Our first house. Bit of a fixer upper.

Oh yeah, and we have a VERY slow drain that the clothes washer drains into, resulting in overflow. THAT I may have to break down and PAY someone to fix. So sad.

I am going to do something very special for the one I love.

He doesn't know it yet,but he's going to get the biggest rawhide chew I can find.

I went to St. Petersburg with my ex - on our aniversery.

Now if anything, it`s an aniversery on which one can celebrate how much one loves each other.

Maybe christmas aswell, aslong as you havent spawned a bunch of egotistical, selfish attentionseeking twats.

And birthdays a chance to be very nice and and loving without demanding anythin in return.

I will ignore this dumb ass day just like I always do. I am sick of all these "days" where you are supposed to buy somebody something, it's a plot by the chamber of commerce.
We'll mark you down as "Sleeping on the couch."

Travelling back up from England. If the flight is on time fine, if it's not it'll be the train and the pink fizz for one...

I am not saying a word about it to Him but if he doesn't do something appropriate this year, I swear the first one that asks will get it.

(excepting people on the internet)

Come on man, certainly your wife deserves some special attention and pampering, just for all the years she's put in. ;)

Don't you mean for all the years she let him put it in

Well, maybe that too.
(but I was thinking along the lines of longevity pins, like some companies give you for putting up with their bull**** for many years)

Break up with GF day before.

Make up with GF day after.

I have always, always hated Valentine's Day. Another BS excuse for jewelers and florists to suck money out of men...

What a bunch of cynical bores, btw.

You can carry on regardless and not make the effort. If you make an effort, it lifts the day from ordinary to a little bit of fun and shared happiness... where is the harm in that?

Girls like to celebrate and have fun.

Lunch for shrimp and grits. They are pretty pricey, and I will only allow him to take me there on special occasions. The shrimp and grits are so great, though, that I find myself looking forward to special occasions!

But as has been mentioned before, Hubs and I don't need a special day to say we love each other. Just comes naturally.

Flowers and a card. What day of the week is it? Not that it matters because from now until the end of April they're all work days but if it's a weekend we'll also go to the gem show.

Flowers, card, 2 boxes of Muth's candies (her favorite) and probably dinner over the weekend
