You didn't have an option I could vote for.

I think stereotypes are somewhat founded in truth. But from a teeny-tiny sample.

I would think that either #2 or #3 would reasonably represent your point-of-view. Maybe a little of both.

    Re: Stereotypes

Stereotypes become stereotypes for a reason.

If that means I watch the Asian chick EXTRA carefully when she tries to pass me on the freeway, so be it.

I could think of several stereotypes about Asian chicks -- but none of them would have anything to do with the freeway.

Perhaps that discussion can be relegated to PMs after I procure some lotion and a sanitary napkin.

    Re: Stereotypes

Stereotypes exist for a reason, they are a general observation made about a particular group. So long as people recognize them as general guides and not absolutes, it's fine. When people start insisting that everyone in a particular group must act like the stereotype or starts discriminating against people based on a stereotype, that's where there's a problem.
There is nothing demonstrably true that religion can provide the world that cannot be achieved more rationally through entirely secular means.

There's generally at least a grain of truth in stereotypes, or they would not have become stereotypes in the first place. Do I care? No. I can easily be stereotyped to a certain degree just based on my age, sex, and predominant nationality ancestry. BFD. It's who I am, and I'm not obsessed about it one way or the other.

They are not true. It runs north to south just like every other female on the planet.
