    Dreams

Last night I had a dream about finding money....a lot of money. I was sitting and just found all these bills. I started picking them up and they changed from $1 to $20 to $100 bills. When I opened my purse to put them inside there were bundles of $100 bills with rubber bands around them (much to my surprise)....lots and lots of bundles of cash.

I'm waiting for Gary to get home so he can take me to the casino.
I'll let you know how it goes

Have you ever had a dream that came true? I have. I'm hoping that I have another one come true tonight.

I would chat with her when I'm feeling particularly snarky, but I wouldn't ever call her on the phone.

Hehe, when my dreams come true, that means I'll be living in the Land of Lala.

    Here's to your good fortune!

    Re: Dreams

I have a recurring dream that's incredibly vivid: I'm walking down the aisle to get married and I realize that I don't recognize the groom. I freak out, whisper to my dad that I can't do it and turn around and run. I hope that doesn't come true....
I am for doing good to the poor, but I differ in opinion of the means. I think the best way of doing good to the poor, is not making them easy in poverty, but leading or driving them out of it. -- Benjamin Franklin

    Re: Dreams

Once dreamed that I was at the funeral of a guy I served with and that he had died serving in the army, he died 2 months after my dream. I have no doubt that I only dreamt about his death because I was worried about him and it was a concidence that he died but it still left me feeling a very strange.

I will attempt an interpretation for you.

You want to get married and have a family one day, partially because of social pressure but you're not sure you'll ever know anyone well enough for this to come true?

    can't say i have.

I've had a couple of wet dreams that I WISH were true...
Nobody who wins a war indulges in a bifurcated definition of victory. War is a political act; victory and defeat have meaning only in political terms. A country incapable of achieving its political objectives at an acceptable cost is losing the war, regardless of battlefield events.

Bifurcating victory (e.g. winning militarily, losing politically) is a useful salve for defeated armies. The "stab in the back" narrative helped take the sting out of failure for German generals after WWI and their American counterparts after Vietnam.

All the same, it's nonsense. To paraphrase Vince Lombardi, show me a political loser, and I'll show you a loser.

    Re: Dreams

I once dreamt my girlfriend was about to dump me because I say inappropriate things.

But that dream was a bit off.

My wife began divorce proceedings instead.

My girlfriend then told me I talk in my sleep.

I've come to realize that dream symbols can get confused and are sometimes difficult to interpret.

Especially the parts about anima, the earth mother, the princess .. anything to do with female archetypes.

Thus my dreamworld is similar to my waking life.

So I doubt either will help me with either.

I did learn about methods of self-hypnosis to control sleep-talking.

My dreams taught me I needed to do that, for sure.

And these methods apparently work, too.

At least that's what my ex-wife now tells me.

Obama won re-election, and now promises to reduce American wage-scales to poverty levels by ludicrously absurdly legalizing 20 million illegals for his political power-play to make the Democrat Party dominant. We must respect rule of law and thwart his un-American efforts to do injustice to American citizens. This is a LAW ENFORCEMENT ISSUE.
