I wonder if the reaction would have been different if for one the kid was not standing and the mother wasnt so hot looking?

I wouldn't call her hot: but looking rather teeny-bopper. . . yes - it would have been different if it wasn't presented in a 'punk teen mom / punk child' way. . . they intentionally went all out for the shock factor and even had him pose looking at the camera. WTF?
All late-nursing mothers might not have THAT look or THAT attitude towards it - but SHE seems off her rocker for remotely permitting it like that at all. Is she really doing it to get across a shock-value of some sort? That's what it seems to me. Late-nursing mothers defend the maternal bond and a child/parent closeness that they maintain; and this photographed posed presents no such thing.

Full set of teeth = no need for mommy's milk anymore. What is this sub-Saharan Africa where there's not enough food to go around? To each his own, but there's really no need for this in places where food is found in abundance.

I agree most women make an effort to where loose fitting clothing and bring a something to cover up with. In fact every site that promotes breast feeding go out of their way to make the point about what cloths are best. Obviously the entire shot was staged, there really is nothing natural about it. Plus it looks like she id rather a short person comparing her to that chair. So that even makes it look worse.

I don't know what all the fuss is. I'm 29 and I love sucking on some boobies![]()
