Yet another reason we have to pass it to know what is in it[W:85]

Re: Yet another reason we have to pass it to know what is in it

My posts in this forum are in regards to the ACA and I care not about other forum rule-breakers who go off-topic such as yourself.

I enjoy you. I have to remember to schedule my visits into this forum when I know you're here. Nice to meet you.

Please remember not to ever post anything about medical care in this section. It's off topic.

Wait - didn't you mention Ronald Reagan? Why, yes you did. I didn't know he had a hand in the ACA. You little forum rule breaker.

Re: Yet another reason we have to pass it to know what is in it

I responded because I thought you were ignorant of what was or wasn't in the ACA. Since you admit that you willingly and intentionally brought up EMERGENCY CARE in an effort to derail and go off-topic I pointed out that doing so is against the rules. I'm disengaging from this convo btw. You can have the last word if you must.

Re: Yet another reason we have to pass it to know what is in it

Allow me to to direct your attention to the text below, which describes the sub-forum and thread name, in bold large red font. It will help you in the future.

Forum-New Forums-Obamacare (ACA)-Yet another reason we have to pass it to know what is in it

All posts in this Sub-forum are in the context of the Affordable Care Act. I'm glad I can educate you on forum etiquette and ask that you remain on topic in future discussions.

Incredible, isn't it

He brings up unconscious patients in the ER, even though you didn't mention unconscious patients or the ER and then, when we mention ACA in a thread about ACA (in a forum about ACA), he complains because he didn't mention ACA

Re: Yet another reason we have to pass it to know what is in it

Aren't you the same poster who was commenting incorrectly in this same section about the elections in New Hampshire prior to 2010 and how New Hampshire is a "decidedly right wing state", which I proved completely false (causing you to run away)? Why, yes you are.

Gee, wasn't that the same thread about a man who bought insurance in New Hampshire, which brought on a discussion about why the costs of insurance were high in NH?

Why yes, it was

Remind me again how posts about the Republicans and Democrats in NH are about the ACA and posts about medical care aren't.

See above.

Re: Yet another reason we have to pass it to know what is in it

I see. So posts about doctors and medical care are off topic.

Are you a moderator here? Or just enjoy posting contradictory posts?

Or - let me guess - you don't like anyone who doesn't agree with you or asks a question about medical care in a section about - wow - medical care?

You're the one who started whining about what other people were posting. You made a statement about ER, and we responded that ACA doesn't affect that, and then you went off about how you're not talking about ACA (in a forum devoted to talking about ACA)

Yes, and you were talking (incorrectly) about the elections in NH and the politicial makeup of the state. You little forum rule breaker you. You're going to give the other poster (the one who mentioned Reagan) a heart attack doing that.:doh

Costs of insurance aren't that high in NH. Remember that graph you posted in another thread and then tried to delete before someone smarter than you (me) saw it?

Oh wait, we're not supposed to talk about insurance costs. Or NH. Or emergency rooms. Or doctors.

You guys make it so easy to humiliate you.

"He" is a she.

Take it easy there creampuff. Nobody likes an ass kisser. You and the other little forum rule breaker may want to take this to a private chat room.:peace

I can't wait to read more about Reagan and his involvement in the ACA. Poor guy must have smelled a bit when they dug him up to be involved. What did he have to do with the ACA again? Did he help write it? Voted to repeal it? Testify in front of Congress about it?

Thanks for playing.:2wave:

Actually, it was a different poster who brought up the politics of the state

Costs of insurance aren't that high in NH. Remember that graph you posted in another thread

According to the chart, it's the 9th highest in the nation

Moderator's Warning:
Everyone, chill out.

Re: Yet another reason we have to pass it to know what is in it

Yes I have, because I'm a person who practices what I preach. Passed by Congress, signed by then president Reagan (R). I'm also an insurance producer so I have a vested interest. No insurance, no treatment.

Well now, there is something we can agree on. However, the Ronald Reagan things gets a bit old don't you think?

Re: Yet another reason we have to pass it to know what is in it

Fine print for the Dr = OK

Fine print for the US Citizen = Bad

Got it! leading to Gillotine time!

Well I hope lots of people SCREW the AMA Dr's .......................

It has to be brought up in the appropriate context. Just like Hitler: there may be times to talk about Hitler but usually discussing him invokes GODWIN'S LAW.

Re: Yet another reason we have to pass it to know what is in it

That's not good, I had thought, and expected that it would all fall on the insurers, but I guess since now the insurers profits are limited by law, it makes sense that the doctors will have to eat some of it as well.

But if y'all were genuinely concerned about doctors getting paid, you'd be outraged at the states that didn't expand Medicaid. In those states non-payment of doctors by patients with no insurance is a much worse problem of the same vein, and yet that bothers you not at all. It's never surprising to see rightie tighties being hypocrites.

Actually, a person without insurance must pay at the time of service. So there would be no "bill." If the doctor saw someone without insurance in the first place.
