I am endorsing @TedCruz. Ted is a consistent, principled conservative who has shown he can unite the party. Page Not Found | Facebook

Interesting. Cruz is getting the support from those that despised him earlier.

good ole outsider ted,he has sold out to the washington establishment, that he said he was not part of,a man that can be bought and paid for.
ted cruz can not be trusted.

This will mean nothing as the die is already cast and the decision made.

This can ultimately hurt Cruz. Remember, he built his brand as being "anti establishment". Now the establishment is endorsing him. Trump can run a good attack on Ted with this.

I'm a Bush man, but I won't follow him to Cruz. I'll go to Kasich, and then when or if that fails, straight to Hillary.

I'm 100% with you, until those last 3 words. I don't plan to follow Bush to Cruz. I'm with Kasich since Rubio dropped out. I just can't go to Hillary. That's like going to Hell and I just can't go there yet.

Another great reason to vote for Trump..

As this primary has required those of us in the moderate and centrist quadrants to make significantly uncomfortable choices, I'm able to make peace with Hillary Clinton. The increased radicalization of the American body politic has led me to find comfort in slightly unfamiliar territory. While I found her meaningfully to the Left of her husband and I'm in fair company with a dying breed of Democrats that used to have less in common with her, I certainly don't identify with the intense dislike of Hillary Clinton, especially given the realistic alternatives. In the end, does my politics, policy background, and demographic status feel safer with Clinton or either Ted Cruz or Donald Trump? I'm a member of a minority, one that had been attacked by both Trump and Cruz directly: people with disabilities (and another diagnosis of emotional and behavioral disabilities). Cruz: "Go after" the mentally ill, Trump: count the number of times he mentions 'crazy people' and need to clamp down on our liberties, making fun of people with disabilities in general. If Cruz is slightly less willing to out and out destroy our liberties, I have little confidence he won't try to do so through normal parliamentary procedure. Frankly, Clinton (using your metaphor, with some semblance of jest) ends up looking like a Saint and the other two looking like Demons.

I envy you, Fiddy. I'd love to be able to be open minded about her. I was open minded about her husband. Didn't vote for him admittedly, but in the end I believed he was a competent POTUS. I just can't wrap my head around her any more than I can about Trump.

This is the most depressing general election of my lifetime.

I'm embarrassed for Jeb Bush. The only way that Ted Cruz unites the Republican Party is in opposition to Ted Cruz.

It's probable that my age has some semblance of influence here. While I was aware of the existence of the USSR and the Kuwaiti invasion, I was just getting introduced to public school at the time. Although the political differences between Hillary Clinton and Newt Gingrich meant quite a bit for the era (and we shouldn't pretend those differences did not exist to a significant extent), those differences (with exceptions granted) are at least slightly muted in comparison to the politics of today. Given that a Rubio presidency would have, in many regards, been "more conservative" since (or before) the Reagan administration, that raises a number of questions about the gulf that would have existed with Ted Cruz. Conversely, given that Bernie Sanders (and to a slightly lesser extent, Elizabeth Warren) have brought a leftism that parallels, if not exceeds, the McGovern-era Democrats, that brings a new level of discourse in what Hillary Clinton's potential presidency would look like in comparison.

As such, Clinton, to me, comes off looking both evenly tempered (especially with the populist anger feeding the Republican base) and tolerantly liberal (more liberal than I would prefer, but not Sanders-level extravagance).

Of course they are scared of Trump. He can't be bought by the party. He has proven he can do just fine without their bribes from super packs and and other special interest that do not have the interest of the average person. Unlike most politicians he knows how to get things done without their money and backing so far. He is clearly not another party puppet that will promise us the world and do what the rich and powerful want after being elected. Republicans will have to decide if they will get behind the puppet or the puppet master.

I am enjoying the way the Republican party is playing out. The worse that could happen is we get stuck with 4 more years with Hillary. I then get to continue fighting for my rights and freedom while the country continues to circle the drain.

That's a good point. His whole "the party needs to come together and support me" shows his whole anti-establishment schtick is false. However I had him pegged as a slimeball as soon as it turned out he lied about Ben Carson's campaign in IOWA.

A Jeb Bush endorsement is the kiss of death. He should have endorsed Trump lol
