Wow this is some pretty messed up stuff. Its clear that the Republicans in North Carolina are trying to using this special session to limit the incoming Democratic governor. Now I agree with calling a special session for that hurricane relief, but that should be the only reason they are convening a special session.
North Carolina is in the Northeast? I guess that's the coup, forcing North Carolina to be moved to a different region of the country.

Yes, it is legal yet it is clear they are reducing the elected Dem Governors powers. So, the only butt hurt here are the Republicans in the NC Legislature

The mods should stop allowing that vulgar expression that is associated with sodomy, which recently was a crime.

With that out of the way, I applaud the legislature's effort to prevent a leftist incoming governor from wrecking the state's economy.

It sounds like they're trying to dramatically cut the incoming governor's power- do you contest this?
The incoming governor has no power to undercut. When the incoming governor is no longer incoming, then he gets to make the decisions. That's how the system works.

Well how is Kansas doing under the far right tax cuts? Or even Wisconsin, the tax cuts for the wealthy did not increase revenues as was predicted in both States. And what do they do, but double down.
Louisiana now has a Dem who is cleaning up the fiscal mess from the former Republican Governor.

You are making a pedantic distinction.

They are cutting the power of the governor's office just before another governor comes in. Do you have the honesty to admit this?

I will admit such and I think it's fine and dandy.

The Republican Middle class voters just can't help but to continue to cut their own throats. It is amazing.

Jindal screwed up Louisiana so bad even the other Republican politicians in the State couldn't wait for him to leave. He left the State in a disaster.
