'No Place' in New York for Conservative Republicans, Says Cuomo

I know this is an old quote, but very much pertinent to the discussion.

Here are New York City values straight from the mouth of your governor.

NO ONE who is PRO-LIFE is welcome. Your very own governor said so. This pretty much ends the discussion about what "New York City" values are. Note I said CITY, not the whole beloved state.

"Right-to-life, pro-assault weapons, anti-gay — if that's who they are, they have no place in the state of New York because that's not who New Yorkers are," he continued.

So you have the same values as Barack Obama, since he is POTUS ?

The statements of the governor of NY state is not a good example for NYC "values". Using NYC as an example of typical big US city "values", which all tend to be more liberal than the rural US, would have done nicely. It was still a fairly lame attempt at guilt by association from Cruz since Trump holds no NYC office.

Cruz was drawing attention to this interview.

We shall see if it gets the desired effects.

If will be a campaign ad if and when the time comes for Cruz to use it.

The time to use it in a campaign ad is now. After the debate the talk all over Fox, CNN has been about Cruz's comment. Even Rudy Giuliani weighed in on it tell Cruz he owed the people of NYC an apology. Fox and Friends is having an open poll on twitter for folks to weigh in. That interview of Trump with Russert should be in an ad playing in Iowa, New Hampshire and South Carolina by the end of the day.

Well NY allows Faux Noise to broadcast from there...............That should count for something........:lamo:lamo..........

That spin does not fly. Even Obama did not come and flat out say, " those who think politically different than me are not welcome in the US ".

In fact, NOT ONE governor in ANY other state said, " those that think different than me are not welcome".

ONLY the New York governor said it.

The other 49 states are welcoming those with different political points of view. It is ONLY New York that says ONLY those that support liberal causes are welcome.

This is rather typical of the boorish and obnoxious behavior that Ted Cruz was talking about, and those that live in New York CITY cannot see and make excuses for.

Just look at all the denial in these posts.

ONLY ONE state governor stood up in broad daylight and said OUT LOUD, If you are Pro-Life, you are NOT WELCOME here in new York State.

THIS....THIS is why everyone else completely understands Ted Cruz's statements about New York values.

I also think he is politically savvy enough to know, even without his comment, he would not get enough votes in the CITY to matter one whole hell of a lot, anyway.

I personally think he was a complete dumbass for saying it. He could THINK IT all day long, but saying it was really stupid politically.

It would be like someone in Chicago running down Dallas, or someone in Houston running down LA. That is just plain dumb to do at any time and makes me question his judgement when under pressure.

I know it is completely factual as evidenced by the very governor of the state of New York saying ONLY LIBERAL THINKERS ARE WELCOME.
This proves it is factual in their attitudes Citywide about conservatives.
It cannot be denied. New York City values are now a matter of record.

Cruz should have just acknowledged that fact privately, and kept his mouth shut.

He IS NOT my President. Never was, and never will be.

He is the only President on record who's actions are intended to degrade and bring down the United States, and actively works to support our enemies.

It doesnt matter if Cuomo defined New York values or if Trump has talked about New York values. Cruz was stupid for bringing it up. Not a very bright tactician. Best case scenario his words do make Trump look bad but still loses New Yorkers. Stupid. just plain stupid.
