Rain was coming in at a 50 degree angle from the East and is now coming in at a 80 degree angle from the West.

180<<<<<<<<<90>>>>>>>>>>>>0

80 and 50 are from the east

ummmm.... nope. As in comparison with a 90 degree right angle, the ground. That is... unless rain can fly up from underground?

Take cover!...hurry

I am under cover in my class on Saturday doing some limited work... what is funny is that it was pretty nice and some kids were playing and this **** storm of rain started and they rain for cover by the offices... that was an hour ago.

It would have been better to use map directions than degrees. 0 degrees is always the 3 o clock position. Whether 90 is above you or to the north ...50 and 80 are both still from the east.

I stated it the way a normal non-sailor kind of person would... I almost just said from the left and right but that sounded too simpleton.

If you can't sing along to at least one Dragon song, I'm pretty sure the Kiwi government will kick you out.

I will have gone into hiding along with others who refuse such tyrrany from New Zealands totalitarian regime!!!

Frontal movement often causes rain and it also usually causes a wind shift.
