Why? Because they look like average Republicans? I disagree. I'm a former Republican and still support the right to bear arms. Aussies are turning into wusses.

The Mark-----Way off, right on, or somewhere in between, it all depends on your point of view.
Sometimes I think we're alone. Sometimes I think we're not. In either case, the thought is staggering. ~

They posted a photo of themselves holding weapons at a gun store and the photos did not contain any obscene or incriminating behaviour.I don't see a problem with it.
The other thing that has not been mentioned here yet is that back in 2007, the Australian swimming team went to a Canberra shooting range as part of a team-bonding session which was organised by officials. Didn't seem to be a problem then so why now, some 5 years later are D'Arcy and Monk being disciplined for taking a picture of themselves holding a gun, in a gun shop, in a country where guns are legal?
Just ridiculous.

Rifle range bonding session reveals Olympic double standard
The AOC have their priorities all wrong here. 6 weeks out from the start of the Olympic Games, one would think the AOC would be offering all the support they can to the athletes representing Australia rather than creating unneccessary drama.
