Margaret, Bob's wife, only appears in the Deleted Scenes, I believe. I watched the Deleted Scenes last night, and they did not shed much light on the mysteries of the movie.

I looked for Bob to give a signal to to a roof-top after Bob delivered the missles, as described in the Screenplay. I didn't see Bob's actor give much of a signal.

I have tried to avoid giving away the turns in the Plot of Syriana, to avoid "ruining" the movie for people reading my posts. I have just tried to delineate and raise questions that are still lingering in my mind.

Islamists attempt to reshape the world through terrorist acts. The West attempts to reshape the world by taking actions to prevent a climate that fosters Terrorist Acts. The Oil Companies attempt to reshape the world so they can get oil more cheaply, and control factors that might interrupt oil, or raise retail or wholesale oil prices.

Were Bob's Memos more about the atmosphere suporting terrorist acts, or more about preventing a specific terrorist act with a specific unaccounted weapon?

A Stinger Missle weights about 23 Pounds. That includes the rocket motor, fuels and guidance system, along with the explosive charge. The Stinger warhead must be something like C-4, if not C-4.

Is the West really interested in preventing All terrorist acts, or rather in limiting, rather than eliminating terrorist acts? Do a few, occasional Terrorist acts allow a sufficient budget so that some clandestine actions can be undertaken, so the West can attempt to shape other cultures?
