The US Air Force Just Dropped Two Fake Nukes

The tests in the Nevada desert come as tensions rise with Russia and the Pentagon seeks to replace its aging nuclear arsenal....

We just want everybody else to know we still know how to do that? Hmmmm.

Does this mean the USA is abrogating its Nuclear disarmament treaties? Of course, the USA refuses to state a Nationsl policy of "No first Strike" and uses this imagery to project fear of Nuclear attack. Make sure they fear us. Not really very subtle.

Comes across as a bit of saber rattling to me.

We test fake nukes regularly. It could be bad timing more than anything.

I enjoy how the US thinks they have room to talk about how other countries shouldn't build nuclear weapons when they themselves are wanting more. I suppose kings always plays by special rules though.

We are countering Russia's "information/disinformation" propaganda push that is going on right now. They are "preparing for possible nuclear war", "practicing evacuations", and so on in an attempt to unnerve Obama. Putin may be preparing to take another bite out of one of the 'Stans, or maybe a hunk 'o Ukraine.

He threatened Obama with shooting down US planes over Syria and brought SSA 300's in to back it up. They can cover virtually all of Syria and prevent US aircraft from operating unless we divulge countermeasures we may not wish to waste on Syria.

Replacing old nukes with new nukes isn't "wanting more", it is a maintenance program.

It is quite literally making more nukes. What you speak of is a technicality that changes nothing.

It isn't a technicality it is reality, replacing nukes is not wanting more.

How do you replace nukes without making more? That's like saying I can replace my video card without acquiring a new one.

Russia has replaced/updated 61 nukes since April 2016.

Does this mean Russia has abrogated its nuclear disarmament treaty's with the US?

This is why we need Trump. He will not be afraid to use nukes...

Isnt dropping a fake nuke like dropping a big rock? No harm really...

Correct, my response was to the replacing nukes is wanting more from a poster.

It would be a pity to have to use the real ones. And it is not Russia that will probably be the reason, when it comes. If multi-polarization goes on the way it has been developing, the final twist is unavoidable nuclear war. So, at least, the analysis would seem to say. If we cannot persuade ourselves and the rest of the globe to centralize the security of peoples and nations, then we will inevitably have major war in this century.

We also aren't threatening to wipe other nations off the map.

We also aren't threatening to wipe other nations off the map.

You mean other than the tendency to attack other countries and kill their leaders?

We also aren't threatening to wipe other nations off the map.

No, we are not threatening to do so, we are ACTUALLY doing it. Syria is a perfect example, Iraq and Afghanistan too.

I wonder if there will be more Syrians killed in this go 'round by the Russians than have been killed in the previous 2 years by the US?

Putin - Our indefinite deployment will mean we can replace every Syrian hospital with a swimming pool."

Coming from you Simple, there is a 95% chance that the statement you attribute to Putin is false.
