Are we heading for hot war in Syria

Obama will go to war to perpetuate his ME Arab spring policy. That is to enable radical Islamic overthrows of secular Govt under the pretense of spreading " Democracy "

Hope a new Cold war with Russia is worth it. Obama seems to think it is

Ah, the sweet, fetid stench of RW historical revisionism and rather laughable ignorance.

The Arab Spring is exactly what the Neocons were attempting to incite with their invasion of Iraq. Now that it has happened they want to blame Obama because it can't be controlled from Washington.

Obama is not going to war. He has no such Arab Spring policy. He is enabling nothing of the sort. There is no real democracy in the ME.

You have absolutely no clue what you're babbling about.

No. The Russians have no military air-lift capacity. They have to float everything to the Tartus port.

No. The majority of Russians don't want their sons dying for Assad in Syria.

Umm that is bs, the russians have most of their fleet on reserve or even leased for civilian use, however russia retains control of its military aircraft as well as any civilian aircraft during wartime. Russias largest cargo jet is actually bigger than the american c-5, all of their other military cargo planes exceed their american counterparts in capacity pound for pound.

this is actually one of the few areas soviet engineers did extremely well, so well that numerous countries still use russian cargo jets for their militaries, despite being outdated.
