We are simply faced with the same thing again as in the mid to late 1950's.

No major conflicts anywhere just a bunch of insurgencies all over the globe.

And among them is the Islamist thing.

Imagine finally there is peace between Russia, China, and the USA but now these Islamic jihadists have flared up.

Why didn't they just stick to butt****ing each other and riding camels ???

Things are really not much different. The only real difference is that now it is Jihadists instead of Marxists.
 
So long as they start by cutting the pentagon staff by at least 20%. That place as a few too many layers of management, which is the most likely reason why it functions poorly.
