The proliferation of such clunky acronyms, and the agency’s expenditures on management consultants during the reorganization , have drawn fire from CIA veterans otherwise supportive of the changes. One bridled at the jargon employed in Thursday’s announcement, with references to the agency’s “Modernization journey” and “cycles of digital innovation.”

“They need another directorate to teach them how to write in English,” the former CIA official said......snip~
 
Generally speaking it is carefully crafted misinformation. It makes it sound like the CIA is just listening and analyzing digital data, but the histrorical proactive nature of the CIA would predict that they are assuning an offenxive posture via digital data. That means they will generate a lot of digital data of an obfuscatory nature both domestic and foreign. The Information Spectrum of Full Spectrum Dominance, don't ya' know?
