The purging of officers by the Obama administration continues with another Army colonel being relieved of his command.

>" Colonel Eric Tilley had commanded U.S. Army Garrison Japan. He was relieved of command because of an investigation that garnered no charges against him, with the reason being “lack of confidence”. There has been no other reason given and this is becoming a trend that many are starting to question. At no other time has this many military leaders, especially of this many levels within all branches, been relieved of important commands, especially with no criminal charges. Tilley’s civilian deputy, Jeffrey Wertz was reassigned in the move, as well...

Japan had another high level relieving of command. The investigation of Colonel Eric Tilley is said to not be connected to the investigation of his previous Major General Michael Harrison. Harrison was said to have been suspended over his handling of a sexual assault claim. < aka not being PC enough> So, in a six month period, the upper command in Japan, which also is the front line if China was to move into Taiwan or any of several scenarios of instability in the region dominated by Islamic and Communist powers. From Military Corruption Re: another high ranking officer being fired by Obama:

>"It's a trick we learned long ago when we were a command public affairs officer. Always release embarrassing news late on Friday afternoon. That way, it might be forgotten or "old news" by the time Monday of the following week rolled around.

True to form, the Pentagon press office waited until almost the end of the day Friday, Nov. 1, to confirm that COL Eric Tilley, commanding officer of the U.S. Army Garrison, Japan had been relieved of duty...

When pressed for more details, an Army spokesperson said it would be "inappropriate" to make public any allegations made against the colonel because "the investigation did not lead to a finding of criminal misconduct."<

I better put my two cents in.

President Obama continues gutting, purging and demoralizing the U.S. military while redefining the purpose and character of the military in the name of social engineering and political correctness.

For you who are still serving, keep your mouths shut and your eyes off of cleavage our you'll walk the plank.
Put a rainbow bumper sticker on your POV and you might get an unearned promotion by the Obama administration.

Just as bad are the people getting put in charge. The Commandant of the Marine Corps has been a disaster.

While there are weird things going on in the U.S. military these days, I don't believe that officers being demoted or investigated or fired is because of Obama's so-called plan to transform things, but more of the kind of thing that corruption in the Officer's Corp will not be tolerated, which is a good thing.

You're referring to that brown nosing, Obama boot licking Gen. Anus or is it Amos ? who refuses to grow a pair and defend the Corps from social engineering.

There's already scuttlebutt that Obama may relieve the current Commandant because he's not initiating social engineering experiments upon the Corps fast enough for Obama's liking.

As soon as Obama finds a lesbian to replace Gen. Amos or is it Anus ? he will be relieved of his command.

A Colonel does not seem to me to be high ranking enough to be in total command. More like four clicks down the chain. Perhaps mountains and molehills?

More likely the spying catching more americans doing stupid things than terrorists doing anything, but probably more along the lines of older officers getting huffy at the end of their careers. if there were actually a "conspiracy" my guess would be it would at worst be an effort to push out those who got their tabs in Desert Storm to make room for those who got theirs in OEF/OIF to extend combat experienced leadership within the top of the ranks for another generation of institutional knowledge.

Last year Obama went after a Marine Sergeant because Obama got his feelings hurt.

Or making room for Obama's Moron Officer Corps to move up the chain of command.

Maybe, but as the military is down-sized, so must the Officer Corps be downsized.

If the Officers Corps has to be downsized, allow those officers who honorably served and bled in combat to leave with honor, don't relieve them from their commands on trumped up charges because they aren't politically correct enough for Obama's PC military that won't be able to fight in the near future. While almost every major country are building up their military as war clouds are forming over the horizon Obama is dismantling our military.

If you have been keeping track of all of the flag and field commanders that have been relieved of their commands over the past 4 1/2 years you notice that warriors are being fired and replaced with yes men.

You don't want yes men in command of any combat units and you never want to surround yourself with yes men during war.

I have always perceived the USA to be the War Clouds building. I haven't observed any significant threats from any Country. The USA Military/Industrial/Corporate/Complex needs permanent wars and marketing and promoting war has become a USA specialization. You know. NGOs, then a 100,000 specialized color flags for focus, then big media event waving flags, then demonize somebody, then shoot em up. Very tidy and profitable, the American way.

Obama strikes me as someone so disengaged from all things military, that if there were a pattern, it would be him being a Yes Man for someone else. I doubt he had any real idea of who half these folks were. You see it differently. We will never know the truth.

Danrhea, did you go to the source ?

I ran that same story on a thread back in June or July of 2012 on the Politico with a disclaimer that the source wasn't a reliable source and exposed who the original author of the < WhatDoesItMean.Com > article was, Sorcha Faal who really isn't a she but a he, David Booth.

If I remember correctly, Sorcha Faal claims to be a Russian scientist. But there is no Sorcha Faal.

But that thread did get over 20,000 views in just five days most from being linked from other websites.

May be a "yes man" to Valerie Jarrett ?

What's interesting and nobody has asked why, why is Valeri Jarret seen so often in the Pentagon ? She's Obama's Senior Advisor and she's been at the Pentagon more times than every former President's senior advisors combined in history.
Kinda of strange wouldn't you say so ?

Even though she's not part of the Military Chain of Command, I think it was Valerri Jarrett who gave an unlawfull order to Marines at the White House to violate their regulations and to carry umbrellas.

Remember the Navy SEAL's who took out Bin Laden. Three of those SEAL's said they were ready to go on the mission three months before before they actually did get the "go" from Admiral McRaven. But they were ordered to stand down two or three times. The word is Obama gave the "go" and it was Valerri Jarrett who told Obama to issue the stand down. Fearing if the mission failed it would hurt Obama's reelection chances. Eventual it was put in Admiral McRavens lap and the White House was completely out of the loop.

One has to wonder out Benghazi.

Obama may be an incompetent Commander in Chief and has been guilty of dereliction of duty as the CnC of the military. But I'm sure he's well aware of every officer who has been relieved of their commands and walked the plank in the past 4 1/2 years.
