    Drink up ya Army Puke...

Here's to our fallen comrades, we will never forget them though to the world they were dogfaces and so few in number.

To us they fulfilled three little words- Duty, Honor, Country.

    SCOUTS OUT!

So what alcoholic beverage do the soldiers today get #### faced on ?

(For example, since 1775 the Marines get inebriated every November 10th on rum.)

Recipe for 1775 Marine Corps Rum Punch:

•1 part lime juice (In recognition of the Limey's Royal Marines)
    •2 parts molasses syrup
    •3 parts dark rum
    •4 parts water
    (pinch of gun powder optional)

I can't say I miss having to go to another Army birthday ball. Not sure how I didn't get alcohol poisoning at one of those things.
I love the NSA. It's like having a secret fan-base you will never see, but they're there, watching everything you write and it makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside knowing that I may be some person's only form of unconstitutional entertainment one night.

    The Army serves near-beer.

BTW: I asked earlier, what is the Army's official alcoholic beverage ?

You, sir, have never heard of the punch/grog bowl. A godawful amalgam of liquors, each one representing something.

I don't know what the official liquor of the Army is, if there is one.

Grog is a navy beverage, made with rum.

I just assumed that the U.S. Army's drink was just cheap hard gut whiskey.

    But !

The U.S. Navy's roots are from the British Royal Navy, they drink grog.

The U.S. Marines roots go back to the Royal Marines and they drink grog that has molasses added to it.

The U.S. Army's roots go back to the Prussian Army and they were beer drinkers. < Baron von Steuben > Maybe the U.S. Army's drink is good old beer ? You can never go wrong with beer.
