Kansas Tax Patches Fail as Tea-Party Experiment Riles Residents

Terrify? Nobody is terrified.
Then why are you talking about cutting debt to 55% of GDP?

And what does that have to do with the debts of the state government of Kansas?

GDP and job growth in Kansas since the Brownback Tax Cuts have been below the national average.

Not sure where you got that. The BEA listed Kansas 8th in income growth in the 2nd Qtr 2015 and 4th in purchasing power growth in that same period.
BEA: News Release: State Personal Income: Second Quarter 2015

And Kansas is 17th lowest unemployment rate.
Unemployment Rates for States

Kansas still ranks 26th in per capita income and still ranks low in cost of living, which still leaves it with a high purchasing power compared to other states. Doesn't seem to be any drop since I charted it and found Kansas was 5th in the country in real income.

I like mountains, forests, and oceans so I live in the Northwest. But, economically, Kansas looks good. Still.

That is one quarter (Q2 2015). I'm talking about the entire time since 2011.

And Kansas is 17th lowest unemployment rate.
Unemployment Rates for States

I didn't say "unemployment rate". I said "job growth".

So for instance, since January 2011 (when Brownback took office)
Kansas Unemployment (Jan 2011): 6.8%
Kansas Unemployment (Sep 2015): 4.4%
Kansas reduced unemployment 35% from January 2011 to September 2015

US Unemployment (Jan 2011): 9.2%
US Unemployment (Sep 2015): 5.1%
Obama reduced national unemployment 45% from January 2011 to September 2015

So Kansas' job growth was dragging down the national average.

And before you say that Kansas didn't have as many jobs to gain as everyone else, know that Minnesota has a lower unemployment rate than Kansas does (3.7%), Minnesota's unemployment rate in January 2011 was 6.8% too.

This proves nothing.

But, economically, Kansas looks good. Still.

No it doesn't. GDP growth also below the national average from Jan 2011-today.

GDP Growth 2014
US: 2.2%
KS: 1.8%

GDP Growth 2013
US: 1.8%
KS: 1.9%

GDP Growth 2012
US: 2.5%
KS: 1.4%

GDP Growth 2011
US: 1.5%
KS: 0.5%

It's Kansas and other red states that are dragging down the national average.
