Apologies. I must just be missing the relevant post.

I have looked through twice now and still cannot see where the OP says Israel receives unique scorn because it has received criticism for x/y/z whereas other nations have not/will not receive criticism for x/y/z.

Since this is the premise of his argument it would be helpful if you could direct me to where this post is.

Thanks.

NOT SO: I always post this to try and avoid the usual wrong assertion.

Feel free to reply there or here. You never did challenge it when posted. Nor did Anyone on the anti-Israel side.
Remarkable!

(as to G-man above... I Already pointed/REpointed/LINKED an exchange containing elucidation by both sides.
I just can't do any more about willfull blindness though.)

Anyway, ignoring the above points there was a 'war', the UN Human Rights group investigated the conduct of the two sides during the 'war' and came up with a report at the end. I'm not entirely sure why you regard this as some sort of unique criticism reserved for Israel. The report actually criticised the Palestinians as well you know. Is your argument that if the war did not involve Israel then there would not have been a UN investigation/report?

As for mbig's post it starts off - What explains most of the world's dislike of Israel?

Whether most of the world dislikes Israel or not that does not mean that it has came in for criticism which would not have been given out had it not been Israel.

Rather than post other posters arguments why not post examples of why YOU feel that Israel receives unique criticism which no other nation on earth receives.
I already said that I agreed with the examples given in the posts to which I linked.

Come on bub, you must have noticed by now that one has to disregard a lot of those who post in the ME forum, many are at least borderline trolls.

To be fair, I might point out that you and Bub only go there occasionally.

Indeed, it obviously takes an American to reach those higher levels of trolling.
