Jihad is a term that literally means "strive" or "struggle" in Arabic. It is much broader than simply "holy war". All Muslims practice Jihad ("struggle in the way of God" or "to struggle to improve one's self and/or society), but not all of them support any kind of "holy war" (especially one against "infidels" as Vader would like to use it).

Hey, if they're struggling to improve my society in their way, or against my will, I'm not a fan of it. Most people who are striving, usually are pretty pushy from my experience.

I wonder how many Muslims like Christians actually fall to the wayside. I know I've always been a "fallen" Christian, but I still stick up for it to some degree.

I suppose it's a matter of translation. Some use to signify a holy war ... others say it means "To struggle in the way of god".
