Saudi Arabia appears to be using U.S.-supplied white phosphorus in its war in Yemen

Re: Saudi Arabia appears to be using U.S.-supplied white phosphorus in its war in Yem

Who cares what they're using against civilians? Over 4,000 non-combatants have been killed in this conflict according to the UN, and the simple fact that the United States joined in on the catastrophe in the first place should be enough to frown on this at the very least.

We owe nothing to Sharia Law totalitarian dictatorships, and our so-called government is getting us to a tipping-point where it will soon be dangerous to be an American outside of America.
That is unacceptable.
What's also unacceptable is Saudi Arabia is the birthplace of Wahhabism, the violent form of conservative Sunni Islam and ISIL, bin Ladin, and Saudi Arabia STILL backs these terrorist organizations.

The US can get oil and money from some other middle eastern country than 'terrorist backing' Saudi Arabia. How about right at home for oil?

Agreed 100%. They're the Aryan Brotherhood/Warriors of Jesus Christ of the Muslim world. An utterly disgusting ideology.

We only sell our left over stuff, not our top of the line premo stuff. This is one of our largest exports. Our last great bastion of unionized manufacturing in this country.

Why are all of you guys hating on unions?

Russia 'caught out' using incendiary weapons in Syria by its own channel Russia Today

The Syrian air force drops explosive barrel-bombs loaded with ball-bearings (and sometimes chlorine).

The Russians use incendiary cluster bombs (above), white phosphorous (Willy Pete), and thermobaric weapons.

I realize this. I do think that giving authoritarian theocratic regimes (in particular the one that produced 15 of the 19 hijackers on 9/11) chemicals wmd's are not a good idea.

Chemical WMD is a bit of a stretch.

The intent makes the weapon in this case. It can be used in a way that does not normally cause injuries.

Or it can be used to target personnel with the intent of burning and/or asphyxiating personnel which is more problematic.

Much like how jet fuel has benign purposes but when place in a container and dropped on people is different.

All forms of incendiary devices are currently restricted from use against civilians.

But then again the same restrictions are in place for everything from ICBMs to the smallest caliber pistol round.

Basically international law says thou shalt not whack civilians.
