In a report produced by the BBC featured an apparent FSA commander sitting in his crisp brand new army uniform but the report failed to mention that Major Yaser Abdulrahim was actually part of the Islamist Fatah Halab who are allies with Ansar al-Sharia which the US described as "anti-regime" but not "necessarily anti-ISIS".

Major Yaser Abdulrahim is not actually a member of the FSA as admitted by BBC propagandist Quentin Somerville on his Twitter page-

"A number of rebel groups" which would include other Islamist Sharia groups?

Fatah Halab is an umbrella group which includes Al Qaeda affiliates Ahrar ash-sham and Jaysh al-islam, Jaysh al-islam were seen putting civilians in cages and putting them on top of buildings to stop the Syrian and Russian air force from targeting them.

Even during the propaganda report by the BBC it featured a Jaysh al-islam flag

The BBC now classes jihadi Islamist groups as rebels?

So in other words, Russia is bombing Islamists after all in Aleppo?

But you are claiming the BBC is biased because they are calling extremists in Aleppo for rebels, and we all know that the Russians are bombing the crap out of the area around Aleppo... so what is it..

Either the rebels in Aleppo are in fact islamists terrorists and the Russians are doing the correct thing, or they are "friendly rebels" and the Russians are in the wrong... which is it?

Do you believe the BBC on this matter or don't you? That is the question.

Let's be reasonable here. This is commonly referred to as "Polishing a turd." You just can't say we're 100% behind the headchoppers and they're really a bunch of sweet guys at heart. You can't say we're spending billions of dollars covertly to support these sweetheart scumbags. It just doesn't have the ring to it that "freedom fighters," "moderate rebels," even "Fatah Halab" which would require some homework to ascertain that it is another word for headchoppers. The monies for all these rebels come from Western coffers. A political revolution, a la Maidan in Ukraine (color revoltion) and organized with a billion dollars of CIA monies via NED, USAID and others failed miserably, ergo monies are redirected to arming and training rebels to overthrow Assad. Since many of these rebels are foreigners, it is somewhat facetious to describe them as "rebels" since "invaders" would be the correct nomenclature. Assad was a "good guy" when he provided "black sites" for torture to the CIA, but he's a bad guy for desiring to oppose the headchoppers, a/k/a "invaders." Ya' gotta' hand it to the US Media for being able to portray these same invaders and headchoppers as the good guys and we should do everything we can to help them out. Simple. That translates to "War is good business, and business is good." The MANTRA of current political establishment of the USA. If a little terror war is good business, imagine what profits can be ginned up with a genuine revival of the Cold War? We should be helping Russia in Syria, not attempting to promote them as an adversary.

Well since the rebels are so fractured in Syria.. who knows.

But my point is, if this guy is as you say he is, the Aleppo is in the hands of terrorists and hence what the Russians are doing there is validated...

The whole conflict is between the secular government and the Sunni fundamentalists with varying degrees of extremism within the groups. The media like the BBC report constantly on the allegations of civilian deaths due to Russian air strikes yet we hardly hear anything about the constant bombing of Yemeni civilians.

lol no it aint. It is between several religious sects and their tribal allegiances plus outsiders (Al Q and ISIS) who are exploiting the chaos for their own political advantage.

For example Assad is Shia, from the Alawaite sect. They are mostly located near the med sea. They ruled Syria despite being the minority, which would cause problems eventually. 75% of the population are Sunnies... which aint great when they are ruled by the 11% Shia Alawaites.. and that ultimately is what this conflict is about.

Well that is priority from the BBC and other English language stations. Watch Al Jazzera in English if you want reports from Yemen.
