Nope. The worlds' strongest airforce isn't being unleashed, air power can't dominate territory, ISIL embeds itself into civilian populaces and uses semi-effective camouflage and concealment, and ISIL can replace a foreign fighter cheaper than we can replace a PGM.

The Administration isn't helping ISIL. It's just not willing to do much about it, because it lacks a strategy to deal with ISIL, and sort of hopes that it can get through the rest of it's time without having to.

Obama has no will and the wrong ideology to deal with ISIL. He will contradict himself in the field with idiotic ROE and get our troops killed.

But hey, weren't you supposed to be providing some kind of evidence of a super-secret covert program of providing aid to the Islamic State that prevented us from putting boots on the ground to fight the Islamic State, that has escaped the global media, but which you have figured out in your basement?



ISW has a pretty good rollup of the open-source reporting. You'll note that some of it is ANF, some of it is ISIL, and most of it is the non-ANF/ISIL rebels.

I did not say flat out 'the FSA does not exist' I said it virtually does not exist in 2015 and is virtually irrelevant in the grand scheme of things militarily in Syria.

The FSA is officially at war with ISIS but it is allied with Islamic Front which is a jihadist/terrorist organisation who is allied to Al Nusra (Al Qaeda in Syria).

I can't believe how dumb US policy makers can be. ISIS is just itching to get US troops back in and looks like your Obama and his people are falling into the trap.
Why don't the US let the Russians and Iranians deal with ISIS? They will do a much better job than the screw-ups Obama and his people have created.

The United States wants Iraq and Syria to themselves so they can install puppet governments to diminish Russian and Iranian influence.
