All poltical parties who are a part of the opposition allowed to run? Assad ready for presidential elections? A big move forward with regards to the political solution in Syria.
 
I sincerely doubt this is truthful at all. It makes little sense for the Russians to go down their to fight for al-Assad just for him to turn around and flip governments and/or risk losing his reign with a general election.

I bet RT thinks it sounds good though. I wouldn't take anything from RT at face value, it's a regime mouthpiece and not open journalism.
