I find it amazing we criticize Russia for engaging whoever, while the US launching missiles from warships is a fairly regular occurrence against whoever else.

Maybe it's a coincidence, but I live next to Joint Base Lewis McChord near Tacoma. The past two days they have been firing off some huge artillery there. House rattling stuff. This is the most intense I have ever heard it and for much longer too.

If they are like the misfire from the Sevastopol Navy Day celebrations in May 2015 then anyone within 200 miles is at risk...

Or the missile on Kursk that cooked off despite being accompanied by technicians from the manufacturer and a naval officer whose sole responsibility was to make sure the weapon was handled according to regulations.

Like I suspected, those missiles are a danger to EVERYONE within a 200 mile target radius. Launched from the Caspian Sea they had to overfly Azerbaijahn / Iran / Iraq etc and could have hit air flights / cities and just about anywhere.
