Violence surged in the streets of Tel Aviv as a 1000-strong protest against African immigrants seeking asylum in Israel turned violent.
Residents of a low-income Tel Aviv neighbourhood descended to the streets, waving Israeli flags and chanting “Deport the Sudanese” and “Infiltrators get out of our homes” to protest against the increase of African migrants moving into the area and the country.
The protest rapidly turned violent and police arrested 17 people with charges ranging from assault to vandalism. Some of them were still beating up migrants when they were arrested.
Protesters in the Hatikva neighbourhood set trash cans alight, broke some stores window and attacked African migrants who were passing-by. They also attacked an African migrant driving through the area and broke his car’s windows.
Reports suggest the protesters targeted local shops known to have African migrants as customers.
Another group of demonstrators stopped a shuttle taxi searched for migrant workers among the passengers, while banging on the windows, the newspaper Haaretz reported.
The protesters were backed by Likud Knesset member Miri Regev who participated in the march and said “the Sudanese were a cancer in our body”, Haaretz ‘s report added.

1.) what is the "world nation?"

2.) the assaulters were arrested, yet you blame "Israel." In other words, you're blaming an entire nation for the acts of a few individuals. Doesn't seem right.
 
 
This is not a race riot but an anti-immigration riot.

Of couse Im blaming every single Israeli for these actions...instead of using the "nation of Israel" as a qualifier of location.

So if someone said "Russia" was wrong to annex the Ukraine, are you blaming every single Russian for it? Why would that be acceptable, but not saying "Israel?"

I'm not anti-Israel or anti-semitic. I just don't understand why there's different rules for Israel than there are for other countries.
 
The citizens of Israel have been complaining about African immigration for a long time. The government refused to listen.

American and other Western governments have refused to listen to citizens that want immigration stopped, refused to listen regardless of the deleterious effects on the traditional and existing culture.

Any country could take a look at the incredible destruction done to the United States in the past thirty years by the rampant immigration from Mexico and other Hispanic countries and now the Asians that have overtaken the Hispanics.

It's obvious that immigration ultimately means that your culture is gone, institutions are destroyed, safety nets are gone, neighborhoods and entire cities are destroyed, your economic system is destroyed and the police simply cannot deal with the increase in crime and violence.

Why would the citizens of any country want their culture destroyed by foreigners?

Not really a fair comparison, because you're going backwards to what happened...

In this case, individual people within Israel rioted and the Governmental Body of Israel actually took action against them (arrested them).

In the Russia case, the Governmental body of Russia took action.

Saying "russia was wrong to annex Ukraine" would be a correct statement, because you're talking about an action done via the direction of, and for, the government of Russia.

A better question would be if saying...

If someone says "A bunch of gang bangers on the street shooting each other. Welcome to the pinnacle city Chicago", are they blaming every single Chicagoan?

As to peoples response to that? I imagine you'd get mixed. When stories about gun and gang violence come up about Chicago and people try to paint the entire city in that light, sometimes you do have people stepping up to criticize characterizing an entire city on the actions of a few people within it. Others have no issue doing so.

Looks like American Blacks aren't the only ones who destroy thier own neighborhoods when they get angry.

Russia attacked Ukraine because the government of Russia occupied and annexed Crimea. Some Israelis protested Sudanese immigration, and the Israeli government cracked down on the protests.

There aren't different rules.

Did you read the article? The blacks were not the ones smashing windows, attacking people and setting things on fire.

Because Russia as a nation are acting in the Ukraine so the nation is doing it (all be it coming from the leadership).

A better analogy would be say the riots after the Rodney King trial.....should we see that as the United States doing it or the individuals doing it?

I suspect this should be open for debate. After all, white people would include Putin, Stalin and our buddy Adolf. There's not even one good reputation to share among them.

They've earned their notoriety as individuals. Well there are black individuals who have earned excellent reputations. I have no problem with Justice Clarence Thomas becoming my neighbor.

Well, we can look at white groups who should be looked upon with disdain then. Nazi's, US Southern Slave owners, and Afrikaners should top any list.

Clarence is alright. The Obama's would make good neighbors too. :)

Sudan is filled with violent radical Islamic terrorists... I wouldn't want many Sudanese moving into my are either.
