Hamas is becoming more popular with Palestinians in the West Bank, which for years had been politically dominated by Mahmoud Abbas' Fatah party; Israel may passively contribute to this trend by failing to hold peace talks

Hamas needs violence to remain strong, Hamas is weakened by peaceful dialogue and as long as Fatah and Israel dont sit down and talk Hamas will gain from this.

The steady diet of anti-Israel (and anti-Jewish), NOT credible graffiti by TDS continues.
RT/Russia Today (twice) and PressTV.ir for just two of a full time board Defacement/Debasement by absurdly Bigoted sources in the last few Days, and of course, YEARS.
It's not just shameless, it's incredibly insulting to the board that you try and pass off such obviously biased trash... daily.
State funded Hate speak Right from Putin and the Mullahocracy.

and who in hell would post Infamous PressTV.ir on Israel (no less)? That's not just 'Left', that's Ridiculous and replete with the Same transparent and hideous bias.

Not serious discussion, just spray painting/dirtying up an empty canvas/message board.
Ever see those guys who go around downtown and paste those concert posters everywhere/on every empty wall, 3 or 4 at a time?
That's what this type of (board-wide/section-wide) 'posting' Always reminds me of.

I'd say they grow stronger with Abu Mazen's help. Israel is willing to continue the dialog for 3 years now, it is Abu Mazen who is boycotting negotiations.

As far as i know this is partially true, there is quite a large support for Hammas in the WB.
However, one of the causes for it (there are other too) is not the lack of "negotiations" but the lack of any visible solution for the conflict - and a general political weakness that WB authorities exhibited over the years.

BTW. The new Israeli government isn't "right wing" as it was supposedly presented in the video.

The only reason isreal doesnt talk to hamas is because they want to creat instability in the gaza strip. Their goal is to make both political factions hate them and fight them so "they" (Isreal) can make up a excuse to go and attack both of them and claim gaza strip for themselves.

Yes jared, you've nailed it!
Israel abandoned it's settlements and returned all of occupied Gaza in 2005..... only to reclaim and re-rule that over-populated Hornet's nest of 1.7 million people.
Oh yeah, they want it!
