Absolutely not. If Israel wants to "strike" Iran, let Israel strike Iran. The United States shouldn't be any country's trick pony.

Edit: What the United States should do is tell both of them that if either strikes anybody, the United States will do some serious moppin' up.

Oh goody! the US will kick some Iranian ass after Iran drops a nuke on Tel Aviv.... sadly I won't be around to witness this sweet revenge...

Where have I asked for America to defend Israel?
Maggie here is threatening Israel from ensuring it wont become nuclear waste.

And Israeli boomers will strike back at Tehran, and the Middle East will become even more of a wasteland, and hopefully humanity will stop fighting over it because of stupid **** that doesn't matter any more.

I will probably be burnt to ashes when Israel strikes back so thats none of my business...
Israel will do everything in its power to ensure its existence and safety of its citizens and no threats from the US will change that.

That's the job of Israel, to ensure its existence and the safety of its citizens.
