I was reading another article where France24 back in Nov were saying that Israel would not attack Iran, that basically what with the world situation and all they already have a balance of terror situation and neither would want to take the first move.

This looks possibly and from your comment like playing the game of 'chicken' with Iran. A very risky ploy indeed.

Sailing in international waters is now 'playing chicken'? Well, I guess it is if your world viewpoint is that any time some pissant little dictator threatens you, you simply meekly retreat.

Gee, what do you conclude the purpose of the threat to United States Navy ships was? And it's Strait, not straight. A small point, I know, but an irritating one.

they never supplied a specific. maybe their threat was to go ahead and develop nukes in secret and they are actually following through internally on that threat.
