Someone many likes form you in a short time. Are you coming on to me? =)
Thanks for the info. Personally I prefer the New King James Bible.
In the US there's the New American Bible which is supposed to be a translation of something much older but I cannot remember what. But that original source is translated by groups of bishops from different countries or languages so everyone can read it in a language they understand, not just the words but the phrasing as well. Personally I like to go with the old King James Version, because the Catholic church has a habit of trying to constantly update the language in the Bible. For example the Bible I got in grade school isn't the same one issued today, the differences are minor but I like consistency. So the King James Version never changes and its written in an older English which forces me to slow down and read it much more carefully and it makes me stop and analyze or research something if its really written bizarrely. So its much more of a research and thinking exercise than simple reading where I can read over something so fast I may not actually catch the message.
Thanks for the info. Question ( Because I love learning about other Faiths and the Other Christian Church) What version of the Bible does the Catholic Church follow?
