As far as what the current thoughts about abortion from the right and the left, both are wrong in my opinion. In the generic far right wing opinion, all abortion should be outlawed again, and the generic far left wing opinion says the opposite, abortion with either no, or minimal restrictions. Abortion is as messy and gray area an issue as they come. First of all, it should be stated, that I personally dislike, and almost despise, abortion. If you are having sex, even with protection, you should realize that there is a risk of pregnancy.
