Disgraced comedian Bill Cosby cannot adequately defend himself against charges of sexual assault because he is 'legally blind' and his memory has 'substantially declined,' his lawyers argued in a court filing on Thursday.

'How can a 79-year-old blind man defend himself against a claim that he sexually assaulted someone he supposedly met once, half a century ago?' the 13-page brief reads.
'The answer is simple: He cannot, and the Commonwealth knows he cannot,' the lawyers wrote.
'Without his eyesight, Mr. Cosby cannot even determine whether has has ever even seen some of his accusers, let alone develop defenses and gather exculpatory evidence,' the brief continues.
'Moreover, Mr. Cosby's memory has substantially declined in the last decade.'

Boo-friggen-hoo. the drama is killing me. I'm glad he's being exposed for what he is.
 
This thing about The Cos being blind is not news except that he is now legally certified blind. His rapidly declining vision was known about, the tour that he was trying to launch just as this all hit the fan was intended to be his Good-Bye tour, and he by some accounts was just barely able to see well enough then to do that.

Believe it or not this was a big thing back in the day. Did you see "Wolf of Wall Street"? The question at hand is what was the level of consent. Some of these women admitt that they never cared enough to ask what the pills were that they were putting in their mouths, which to me means they dont have cause to bitch later when the evening did not turn out like they wanted. Others claim that he lied about what the pills were, which gets us fully into he said/she said I assume, but if he did lie then this makes him guilty.
 
It needs to be noted that deep into the 1980's Cosby's bestie Hef was routinely doing Quaalude sex, only by all accounts he was a stickler for consent. I get the idea that Cosby had a line that he would not cross as a point of honor, but it was not Hef's line.

In any case the guy will be dead soon, and this is all way too late. Women need to speak up if they want to, in some reasonable time frame, according to me. Abolishing statutes of limitations is one more way our "Justice" system has failed us.

Cosby said that he gave them the Ludes, but he says that they knew all about it. Maybe you have had your mind warped by the feminists, they who will say with a straight face that if you sit with a guy at a bar and buy yourself 7 drinks and pour them down your throat it is all the guys fault, he got you drunk so that he could more easily sexually assault you.

No, in this scenario YOU got yourself drunk, you decided, you put it in your body, dont go blaming the guy just because the feminists want you to.

As I said, The Cos drugged women only if they asked what the pills were and he lied.

Could have happened, but at this late date I dont care if it did.

me too, I am glad it all came out even though it has taken decades for those woman to feel safe enough to voice the violence done to them

I wonder if they want it to go to trial

I don't know if "justice" would really be done, he is old, washed up and completely tarnished...his life is over

maybe it would just be beating a dead horse.

Added to the fact that Bill Cosby wanted this piece of evidence removed from the case entirely, coupled with his extremely suspicious behavior over the course of this debacle, makes me think that Bill Cosby is in fact guilty.

Now you personally may not care if he sexually assaulted these women or not, but that is entirely irrelevant. The women who were sexually assaulted do care, and that's all that matters.

He is not saying in the quote that he gave Ludes to women without their consent, he is saying that he bought Ludes with the intent to have Lude sex, that he did, with him supplying the ludes to the women. Cosby was well known to carry a pharmacy with him, and to offer pills up to people in need having nothing to do with sex..... according to him supplying Ludes to women before sex was a part of the standard Cosby service, and they knew exactly what they were doing.

Cosby is brilliant, he used exactly the words he wanted to use to say exactly what he wanted to say, you deviate from that at the expense of being wrong.

I still have all his albums and he was one of the greatest comedians in our lifetime....and I loved the guy...starting way back in the mid 60s!

How come you fail so bad about reading between the lines over Hillary?

What Cosby may have done, pales in comparison to what Hillary has done.

Her misdeeds and incompetence affects the entire US of A.
