Mass shootings

How many mass shootings has Australia had since they passed much stronger gun control laws?

ZERO.

How many did they have before they changed the law? Roughly a dozen in the 20 years prior. The Aussies were, to my understanding, pretty appalled by the history they had with massacres of aboriginals and tended to shy away from guns in general due to that.

Also, the number since 1996 isn't zero. Wikipedia cites 5 mass shootings since then.

What does Australia have to do with shootings in the USA?

Perhaps someone could look up how many mass shootings there were in Nazi Germany or in 1940's USSR. I have to imagine it was at or close to zero. But that really doesn't matter, does it. Because it has nothing to do with the USA. The Ozzies will tell you that they don't always have the freedoms they think they deserve. And neither do we. But we still have our guns. And as long as citizens have guns, then the government has to listen to you.

Fact Check Politics Crime

Mass Shootings Under Obama
The claim that vastly more mass shootings have taken place during President Obama's administration than that of any other recent President is a false one based on a double standard.

I have found snopes's "evidence" backing up their decision a bit lack luster lately.......

But, in this day of political elections, its not surprising coming from a liberal organization like snopes.

Besides, I prefer to take their own advice as to the accuracy of their material:

Snopes FAQ said:
Q: How do I know the information you've presented is accurate?

A: We don't expect anyone to accept us as the ultimate authority on any topic. Unlike the plethora of anonymous individuals who create and send the unsigned, unsourced e-mail messages that are forwarded all over the Internet, we show our work. The research materials we've used in the preparation of any particular page are listed in the bibliography displayed at the bottom of that page so that readers who wish to verify the validity of our information may check those sources for themselves.

While they state that they show their work.... I would say that their "work" shown for this particular piece is rather lackluster... it barely goes beyond stating, "Its false... because we say so"

Governments are bullies and bullies only understand one thing.............force.

Actually, it is a none-issue because nearly all of the shootings are so called 'false flags".

Only to help the government' (whatever that is!) that people will be for gun-control.
So, that the 'governmen't (whatever that is!) can take over. (the 'government' (whatever that is!) is a psychopathic structure.

what a world this is!

Number and word games being played. Mass shooting or mass killings. A very big difference.

There are lies, dam lies and statistics!

The Media’s Inflated ‘Mass Shootings’ Count Is Wildly Misleading
Media's Mass Shooting Count Misleading | National Review

The numbers are provocative — and, unsurprisingly, misleading.

I have a question! Do you have a source to back up your facebook image?

Sure, but you wouldn't know him, and I didn't know this was a facebook image as I refuse to participate in facebook.

Who cares? I don't care how effective some other nation's firearms laws are, if those laws, enacted here, would violate the Second Amendment.
