Could more K9s be a Solution?

They are not special. They are human just like everyone else.

humans are humans with different IQs different EQs and different levels of skill and training

of course they are special

some people are just better at somethings than others

we are not created equal

sorry to burst your bubble but that is the raw truth of life

K9 officers are not special, they are just cops trained to use dogs as a tool of law enforcement.

A little extra training doesnt make a cop any less capable of being a asshole. Your logic would dictate that the more training one has the less likely they would be a asshole. Obviously that is BS. Anyone who has had a asshole boss would agree. ANd anyone that has been in the military would definitely disagree with your lame logic.

But all of that is besides the point. Which is that dogs are a awesome tool for search and rescue, but in law enforcement they duties should be limited to very special assignments. They should not be used to intimidate the public. The OP suggested the use of police dogs to terrorize criminals into submission. Since we have Constitutional rights that dictate that we are innocent until proven guilty, using dogs to intimidate the public is anti-American at best. At worst it is a step towards a authoritarian government. So no I dont agree that using more dogs would be a solution at all.
