I couldn't agree more. Complete and utter bull**** reading how they are getting away with theft and we basically can't do a damn thing about it. Very frustrating.

Yep, I can understand seizure for holding until after trial, etc. but without any paper trail on what was collected it is just institutionalized theft.

Asset forfeiture is simply government sanctioned armed robbery. The police were created to arrest robbers, today they are the robbers, that is when they aren't shooting unarmed people, or kids dogs.
