To the BLM Supporters/Advocates: What would you have us do?

Well that was kind of my girlfriend's question. What is the point of it? I don't see it as some kind of hippie counter culture bull****. I don't see it as having some kind of grand plan for change. I see it as a bunch of people who are angry at a system they have been falsely lead to believe is rigged against them as blacks...thus ensuring a cycle.

The system is rigged against the poor. Your skin color will not matter if you have green. It won't matter if you don't have it. A rich black man will be better off in this nation than a poor white one. Hands down. And I think the BLM fails to see that. And so they demand to see some kind of change, but they don't understand what needs to change. What tactic that the police use is inherently bad?

Profiling isn't bad. Makes sense actually. I mean depending on the circumstances of course. Is it the shooting of an armed criminal? Was it the use of body cameras to clear the officers in this case? What policies need to change?

I think that if the BLM wanted to be taken seriously...they have to recognize that they are only victims of a cycle of poverty and cultural abhorrence of doing anything about the ones who victimize them (the gangs and the criminals and the whole don't snitch thing). And the sad part is...it isn't the black community that has this problem. It is primarily inner city blacks in low income and high crime rates.

I didn't start the thread with genuine concern? Lol. So that is the justification? And then on top of that you called me racist. Pray tell me slick: why am I racist? What did I say that was racist? What do you think would happen if the inner cities (the ones that have the horrendous gang and drug problems), decided to start ousting those gangbanging thugs? They encouraged their kids to join law enforcement, military, fire departments, EMS, teaching, public service jobs, college, nurses, doctors, and they stopped believing in the "don't snitch" mentality? Hm? If they actually took the idea that they "could" make a difference, and applied that idea to the ones who raise the crime rates, sell the poisons, prostitute out the women, and recruit children into their trades? I'm betting you might see something a little different.

But of course you don't want to see them going harsh on pieces of **** like the Crips, Bloods, or whoever. You don't want to see them actually going after those organized criminals because it wouldn't end well for democrats. The idea of self reliant blacks seems truly terrifying to you.

But your not looking for answers, you already have all the answers dont you? your looking to justify your own pre-existing hatred and racism. BLM is protesting people like you. So of course your upset. I would be very upset if someone protested me and my influence in politics. Especially for something I can't control like fear. So I understand you and your reaction. but theres nothing to do or discuss the only thing I can do here, is help you get some of this hatred off your chest so you dont attack random people in public

I'm not the one who thinks African Americans who have been in this country need special rules so that they can survive. They are humans just like YOU or ME or ANYONE. They aren't different.

Typical of someone who has no point and can't protect their moronic argument that has essentially killed itself by supporting murderers like the one in Milwaukee or thugs like mike brown. Congrats. You are now the supporter of bullies and criminals.

Further perpetuating the victimization of poor inner city blacks because God forbid they stand up for themselves and stop letting people like YOU push them around and tell them they are victims who cannot achieve anything in life.

Apparantly BLM would have us cancel out foreign Aid to Israel, apparantly thats the only issue they really care about, since it's the only one they don't compromise on(that and killing black people).

What is your stated objective? List your grievances.
Listen, to both sides.
What are your proposed solutions?
Bring levelheaded and fair representatives from both sides to sit together and work out sensible and achievable solutions.
Stay focused, don't use violence, don't yell and scream. A calm and reasonable voice has the greatest impact.
Drawing a line in the sand just separates. An outstretched hand heals.
