Tested at 55%-90% accuracy, depending on the equipment, the reader, the individual quirks of the person being tested, and whether or not the person being tested knows how to skew the neutral questions taken to establish baseline responses.

You're taking a risk submitting to one even if completely innocent of whatever it is you are suspected of.
 
Moral of the story is: If you're a suspect, shut your damned mouth, demand an attorney in clear and unambiguous terms, assert your right to remain silent, and shut your damned mouth. ;)

And don't even sign a card stating you've received your Miranda rights. Clam up and hope they don't beat you...
