Getting fired is not justice (criminal charges) it is simply slightly yielding to extreme public pressure to relax the "just us" system a teeny bit by a still too powerful union. I am not saying that officer is guilty of murder but clearly he violated enough standards of professional conduct to be told to find another line of work. The nonsense that being a police union "bother" means that nothing short of a felony conviction should end your receipt of a public paycheck has to end.
