Man shoots suspected gang member; saves neighbor

A man says he’s lived in his neighborhood at 1st Ave. and Utica St. in Denver for 22 years without ever having any problems.
But that all changed July 3 when witnesses say gang members tried to run his neighbor down. Then, they turned the car on him.

The man had a gun, and he used it.

Just remember, you may not like the fact that your neighbor has a house load of firearms, but the life they save may just be yours.

Yeah, there is some gang crime in Denver, oddly enough there is a bunch in Greely too. I never understood the gang life in Colorado. It's not like people were are living in Watts or anything. It's Colorado. If you're pissed off, go take a walk outside in the sunshine and mountains and relax a bit.
