The Myth of the Generous Offer

Trump once donated $10,000 to a West Bank Israeli settlement

I wonder if he knew or even cared that his money was funding criminals

I doubt that he considered them criminals.

That might well be the case but the fact is they are illegals settling Palestinian territories. The settlements are illegal as was confirmed in the 2004 World Court advisory verdict by a landslide majority of the judges

The US is not a participant in the World Court. The whole concept of "Palestinian territories" is an illusion.

So what ? The US is weird , completely weird , when it comes to international conventions. They took 40 years to ratify the convention against genocide and only on the condition that they exempted themselves from it.

Back to the World Court advisory verdict , there was a US judge that took part in it

It's a concept that has been voted on in the UNGA for decades and has enjoyed overwhelming support during that period. If it is an illusion that's only down to the negative influence of the veto power of the permanent members of the UNSC

As I have already posted, in my view the Palestinians' window is closing, if it has not closed already. Again in my view they will soon enough face abandonment by their Arab sponsors. No court and no UN action will matter.
