Once upon a time, there was a country known as isreal. this did not go through the proper channels of sovereignty, or something, as when the second world war ended there was no country called isreal, only palestine. the reason for this goes back to wars where the palestinains got rid of all isreali rule in the region. this must have been a case of army versus civilians though, as the cities were call jerusalem and tel aviv and other 'metrosexual' names.

Then, after the second world war, briatain was very worried about all the jews, so they bought them the land somehow. this land was a gift for the people that had suffered the most, and, a place to call home. a similar comparison might be made of kurdistan?

So, many jews went back to isreal from their ancestry and settled there. all was good and well until the arabs started pelting them with rockets, as, they said that the holy sites were on isreali terrain. unfortunately, these sites are just on the right side of the border, so the obvious path as i see it would be to give them their damn tamples back - if people are dying, and god doesn't care where you worship him, so long as you do, then all is well. there seems to be some pride in the jewish ranks with this though, as they refuse to give up the temples, of course.

I would call these actions reminiscent of something along the lines of grounds for impeachment. since when do people get killed over buildings - these are structures of rock and stone, not where god lives himself. if they want to have peace, they should give these back - surely they are mature enough for this? if these temples are that important, then please say how?

Brett,

It's spelled, "Israel", not Isreal.

Just saying........

Are you saying that Isrealis are metrosexual because of the way their cities are named? :beam::cuckoo:
