The Gatekeepers is a 2012 documentary film that contains interviews with 6 former heads of the Israeli intelligence service, the Shin Bet, and asks for their opinion on the Palestinian/Israeli conflict.

Here is a trailer for it

And here is a review from roger eberts site.

Well, OBVIOUSLY those 6 former heads of Israel's intelligence service must hate Israel! I bet they hate freedom, too! And they're all secretly Muslims, too!

If a Israeli documentary reveals statements that contradict the traditional narrative, is it wrong?

how did you get that impression from this movie?

that was all sarcasm. See my political lean and my other thousands of posts.

Obviously it is sarcasm, its just not clear if you think the movie is Pro Israeli because of those who are being interviewed or that you found the Shin Bet former commanders too... em... leftists ?

Excellent documentary. It's difficult to imagine that one could watch the entire movie in full and, without cherrypicking, come away with a pro-Israel or pro Palestinian conclusion. Some of the extraordinary screwups of the Shin Bet on one side and the intransigence of the Palestinians on the other paints a very clear picture many of us might not have possessed going into it.
