West Bank, Gaza honor Milhem as ‘heroic martyr of Palestine’[W:35]

Re: West Bank, Gaza honor Milhem as ‘heroic martyr of Palestine’

Wrong. The immigrants were injected with a potent contraceptive as a requirement for immigration
Simply repeating something doesn't prove it. Prove your claim.

and these injections continued to be administered for years once they arrived. Don't tell me that isn't sterilization. It is a disgusting example of a modern Eugenics program.

Really?!? So how then a woman showcased in the original TV show managed to have 3 kids in Ethiopia and 1 in Israel, according to you she is supposed to be "sterilized".

You see I'm actually familiar with Ethiopian Jews, and no matter how disgusting or even racist some of Israel's policies towards Ethiopian Jews might be/been, no one is even remotely talking about "sterilization" or "Eugenics".

Fallen.

Depo-Provera requires injection every 12 weeks to maintain its effectiveness. The fact that these women were told they must receive this injection as a condition of immigration and continued to be injected for years after their immigration without even being told what it was (many were lied to and were told it was a vaccine) is pretty damning evidence of a eugenics program. There is absolutely no legitimate reason to inject people with contraceptives as a condition of immigration or to continue doing so after they have arrived. The only purpose it serves is to effectively sterilize the immigrant population (and it worked given the sharp decline in birth rates coinciding with this program). That one woman supposedly caught on and stopped the injections doesn't change anything.

...and yet ...you simply ignore the comments made for instance by other Ethiopians in the same TV show that they were told that simply having a lot of kids will make their lives harder both in Ethiopia/Israel, and that those that wanted also got pills.

Suddenly when it doesn't support your narrative it's "only one woman"?!? Again, no one is arguing that the treatment of Ethiopian Jews wasn't very "bureaucratic" borderline racist. Instead of spending years and years on actual sexual education they were treated as uneducated simpletons that will "forget" to take pills so they were simply given the shot instead. However, by definition this is not "sterilization", as none of these women is "sterile", nor it has anything to do with "Eugenics" - you simply haven't proven any of your conjectures yet.

No, that also plays a role. Why were they being discouraged from having children as part of the immigration process? Why was contraception (voluntary or forced) mandatory to immigrate?

You must be joking. It is effectively sterilization if you're injecting people with contraceptives for years and absolutely is a eugenics program targeting black women.

Did I stutter or something?!?

They were actually told the truth, having a lot of kids as migrants is difficult. They were attending family planning sessions, whether their "aliyah" was conditioned and how aggressive the family planning actually was I don't know. Instead of asking me to do your research, would be probably helpful if you'd actually watch the original TV-show instead of making empty claims about "mandatory shots"/"conditions".

No I'm not. By definition, if these women can have and actually had children they are not sterile. If you simply keep calling something sterilization or eugenics it doesn't make them sterilization or eugenics. So far you've provided no evidence to support your claims and it seems that you haven't even seen the original TV report.

PS. By your logic, white Israeli girls going through sex-education classes and taking pills for years is also a eugenics program, this time targeting white Jewish women

Can you like support your arguments with evidence or/and references please?

It's not sterilization, he is referring to the birth control shots Ethiopian women received when they immigrated to Israel, it was a big scandal here when it was discovered but it wasn't sterilization. Moreover it had nothing to do with orthodox jews...
