I hear former foreign minister of Ichkerian government in exile, I. Akhmadov, has got a chance to receive authority for being a head of this government now after recent statement of US presidential candidate, Mr. McCain!
But I think it would be better for those in Washington, who want to see him in this post, to remember that Mr. Akhmadov has lost even the post of Ichkerian foreign minister away back in Maskhadov’s times because of his well-known tendency to offer great concessions to Moscow.
I’m sure most of my Chechen comrades-in-arms, even those, who live in Europe or in the USA now, will receive this information very negatively. One thing is sure: Akhmadov’s appointment to the post of the leader of Chechen resistance movement abroad will inevitably leads to aggravation of antagonisms between our rebels up to armed confrontation between some of our groups and formations, located in European countries and the USA. And nobody knows what result of it would be for those, who have initiated this process…
