Chancellor Merkel has demonstrated strong and refreshing leadership. She has distinguished herself in her understanding of history, geopolitics, and expression of Germany's interests. Her reaching out to Israel and willingness to take a strong stance against Iranian nuclear designs is the kind of leadership that can enable Germany to make a positive and material contribution toward improving world security.

The only reason they wish to develop nukes is to hold over Israel heads.

No one wants anyone have nuclear weapons- which is why I advocate treating all of the Middle East as a nuclear-free zone and condemning all nuclear parties equally.

Do you want to invade Iran? Does that seem like a good idea to you? Have you been watching the news for the last 5 years?

Why do you think Iran would want to have nukes?

To "destroy Israel"? I don't think so, they know they would be destroyed within minutes by Israeli and US nukes.

In fact, Iran tries to get nuclear weapons, just as North Korea, because once they have it, they know they won't be attacked. Iran does not want to be the next target of an US preventive attack, like Saddam.
