'Allah ordered' child beheading, nanny says at Moscow court - Yahoo News

Moscow (AFP) - A nanny accused of decapitating a young girl in her care then walking through the street brandishing the head, on Wednesday said "Allah ordered" the killing as she appeared at a Moscow court.

Suspect Gyulchekhra Bobokulova from Muslim-majority Uzbekistan -- whom the press have dubbed "the bloody nanny" -- was detained on Monday as she was waving the child's severed head outside a metro station in northwestern Moscow. She was sent for psychiatric examinations.

"It was what Allah ordered," the 38-year-old told journalists as she was brought into the district court to have her arrest confirmed and extended.

This. How many mentally ill killers have we had in the West who believed the Christian God was talking to them and telling them to hurt someone? For a Muslim who's mentally ill, it will just be Allah instead. It's so common that the DSM lists it specifically as one of the criteria for psychotic delusions.

It's one thing when there's a cell of terrorists striking out in some kind of political way -- and such sects exist for both Christianity and Islam as well as many other things, in the developed world.

It is completely another when someone who is almost certainly insane commits a random deranged act with seemingly no purpose.

Very few would think that, American, of any religion and anyone who would find that ok is just as ****ed in the head. I think the pretty much inevitable and immediate deflection of any criticism of Islam is ridiculous and annoying as hell, but in this case, the psycho bitch is just a deranged murderer and likely would be regardless of whatever religious beliefs she had.
 
She had this job (nanny) for three years and never was a problem. She returned to her native Uzbekistan for a vacation last December.

Russian authorities believe something significant happened to her during that trip. Either drug addiction or some kind of mental trauma.

I'm sorry if this woman probably being mentally ill complicates your prejudice, but that's irrelevant to the facts at hand, which include evidence she is indeed mentally ill, thus why they decided to have a full assessment of her mental state before doing anything else, and no evidence whatsoever that she's a terrorist.

This stuff happens daily in the Middle East. I don't really care when it happens there, I just feel sorry for Russians (and other Europeans) who have to deal with it due to suicidal migration policy. There shouldn't be any people yelling Allah in Moscow.

Doesn't mean this particular woman is not crazy. The fact that there are lots of actual Muslim terrorists does not mean that there is no such thing as a Muslim who is simply mentally ill.

Unless you think Muslims are just some other strain of human that doesn't get mental disease ever.

There are Muslim Russians. Ethnic peoples who live there. You can't pass laws against mental illness (whatever the religious cult) or there would be no Trump voters.
