Washington’s war crime in Afghanistan

I've read it. Which specific article are you quoting as 'the definition of a war crime'? Because, you see, I'm reading Articles 18 and 19. From the latter:
Now, perhaps you can provide evidence to the contrary, but I'm pretty sure there was no such warning given, and that no US source has so far been quoted claiming that any such warning was given.

Look, it's obvious you'd like to see a bunch of US military lined up and shot or hung as war criminals. I prefer to stop discussing this with you before I tell you exactly what I think about that and you, which will end with me being given a permanent vacation from this place.

Please do not quote me in this thread again.

Andy is desperate for this to be a War Crime. In fact, it probably was accidental. This just in - civilians die in wars. Far more German civilians died during the allied bombing campaign than German soldiers. **** happens. It's unfortunate, but that's what happens in wars.

It comes as no surprise that you wouldn't recognise standards of behaviour in wartime - unless your people were on the end of war crimes, of course.

Not at all. I just want them to be held to the same standards of behaviour as everyone else. Had the Taleban attacked the hospital you'd be berating them as animals and claiming it as proof of their bestiality. Your hypocritical approach to this is quite sick-making.

Please don't let me stop you.

I'm sorry, but I can't and won't censor myself on behalf of your delicate sensibilities.

I'm not asking you to sensor yourself. I am asking that you leave me alone. You can post whatever you wish, and say what ever you wish, about whatever you wish. Look at my request again in that post - I said "Please do not quote me in this thread again."

If you do, again, I will report you for flaming.

And, princess... there's nothing delicate about me, and I lost all sensitivity a long time ago.

You'd better go ahead and make the report, because there is nothing flaming about quoting someone's words in a post. I am debating this subject reasonably and rationally, using evidence and logic. If you cannot debate the subject without becoming overwrought, please feel free to stop posting. If you continue to post, I may continue to quote you.

Greetings, Jack. :2wave:

Since we were targeting terrorists who were hiding for their own self interest in feeling "safe from danger" on what we have learned were Doctors Without Borders hospital grounds, it will be interesting to see what the world might think about a ruling regarding "targeting errors" and whether it can be called a war crime, since we eliminated known terrorists. . . who have now been made aware that they will not escape death by hiding in such places! :smash:
